About the curators ////
Fionnuala Aston-Ardee initiated Killruddery Arts in 2006 along with Xenia Meath. In the development of this in-house programme, she has worked in conjunction with, amongst others, Chrissie Poulter, Andrew Legge, Kevin Brownlow, Daniel Fitzpatrick and most recently and intensely with Rosie Lynch. She is interested in creating engagements between the Location – Killruddery (past and present) and Artists, of many disciplines, to create work that is life enhancing, engaging and assessable for both parties and the Public. Since moving to Killruddery in 2004 Fionnuala has created a state of the art, artists studio space, in the farmyard, which is the centre of all Killruddery Arts activities, and with a great team has now seen three progressively successful Silent Film seasons and three consistently changing versions of The Enchanted Garden. Fionnuala graduated from fine art painting, NCAD in 2006, her practice includes painting and more recently she has designed the Garden Café at Killruddery in collaboration with Chef Julian Holloway.
