 This film was my own personal first choice for the festival and you will have to excuse the superlatives for a moment as I describe it as being among the truly great cinematic achievements. A captivating retelling of the Pocahontas story that was almost uniformly ignored upon its brief theatrical release. The film is breathtaking in its majesty and if you haven't ever seen it on a big screen you absolutely should, I guarantee you'll be blown away by its magic. |
