A Future Past featuring High Treason
Maurice Elvey, Silent (1929), 2hrs
Screening Saturday 13th 12.00am €15

Andrew Legge, filmmaker and one of the directors of last year's festival put together this exciting programme focusing on visions of possible futures from the silent era. The centrepiece of this programme is Maurice Elvey's 1929 sci-fi imagining of a far different 1940 in which oddly familiar flying vehicles float through the sky, rubber swimming caps are high fashion and everybody dances in nightclubs to peculiar electronically programmed pop music, how odd!

Following the screening you will be treated to the spectacle of cryogenic icecream being created using liquid nitrogen before your very eyes.
