Powell and Pressburger's beautiful 1948 film 'I Know Where I'm Going' is without question a highlight of the festival a mystical poetic romance set against a backdrop of the Scottish Isles (Powell had initially wanted to shoot the film in Ireland, alas this was not to be). It is an almost perfect film that gets richer and richer with each viewing and Killruddery is the ideal place to see it. The film will (weather permitting) screen in Killruddery's outdoor natural amphitheatre. A magical way to see a magical film there will be hot drinks, hot water bottles and other cosy things to keep us all from getting too chilly and if things get too cold we'll watch it in the library by the fire instead.
Presented by Fionnuala Aston-Ardee (Killruddery Arts Director)
Venue Outdoor Screening, weather permitting THIS FILM WILL NOW SCREEN IN THE LIBRARY DUE TO PERSISTENTLY COLD WEATHER
